What can I say about doing field work in BRAZIL (my home country)? Only the best things! AMAZING biodiversity and people to collaborate. I have been to so many expeditions, small and large, and they were all very enriching experiences.

I have here a few selected trips, and at the very end a few random images. Enjoy the view!

States: Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro
Team: Alice Gerlach, Manuela Dal Forno, Philippe Clerc and Rodrigo Penati
Think of place you would like to go right now... among the so many places I have been, Pedra Bonita in Minas Gerais must be one of the most incredible sites I have ever been. So that would be my TOP CHOICE. The FOG is just out of this world in the pictures... and the LICHENS... to dream about!
Parque do Itatiaia 2016 - Cora and Dictyonema Microbiome

Team: Manuela Dal Forno and Marcela Cáceres
Sergipe 2013 - REBEL
Gramado and Canela 2013

These are my favorite trees in the world: Araucaria angustifolia
and they are covered in lichens
